Missing summer

I know fall fashion's in, and yes I almost got teary in Forever 21 looking at the knitwear but let's get real, it's not going to get even slightly cold in Mumbai.
So I went on and did a normal casual summer look post because these are clothes you'll actually wear longterm if you're a Mumbai Girl.

So as I've mentioned in my previous post about this brand called Cranberry I have done this post with them again!
denim shoes
bandage leggings
heart cut out top
So, here's how I styled them:

Rs.799/-

Rs.899/-
Rs.799/-

My styling suggestions:
1. Wear the denim shoes with white shorts and a cute top to focus attention on the unique denim element of the shoes.
2. Wear a contrast colour bralet or tube inside the heart cut out top to make it look fab
You can also be brave and try going backless on it
3. As for the Bandage leggings wear a top which is a little long and not skin hugging to make your leggings stand out. Also, leggings are not substitutes for pants so we have to make wise fashion choices.

A newfound love | Cranberry

I come back with something exciting!
I haven't blogged for a while because I couldn't handle the pressure from studies but now I am writing this post because I have something to tell you,
or rather,
show you.
I was recently approached by a REALLY amazing brand on Instagram called CRANBERRY.
This brand sells really really amazing stuff, trust me, I saw everything first hand!
They gave me these 3 really chic products to style:

DIY DRY ERASE BOARD

THIS DIY goes out for all of us who are studying our asses off for either 10th or 12th boards.
I can totally relate with the boredom, saturation and craving to just leave everything and run away.
To make something as boring as studying a little bit interesting here's a diy:
A dry erase board, also called as a white board, is pretty helpful for me while I study, I write all important pointers on it and then revise off of it in the morning. But, since my whiteboard is preoccupied with my timetable I couldn't revise or write pointers as I used to. So I decided to recycle my writing boards.

DIY Galaxy Phone case

This is a very easy DIY and there is no particular way to do it, you can customise it the way you like it. But here's some basic stuff:

The flamingo dress | One dress 4 ways

So you're shopping at the mall and this dress which looks like something that belongs in your wardrobe, catches your eye. You stepped out of the house thinking you'd buy clothes you can wear to school but this dress just changes everything, fuzzes up your mind. Damn, you bought it.

The agony of buying a dress is, first: you could have bought 2 tops in that same amount of money, second: can't wear it to school or while travelling in public transport (#mumbaigirlproblems), third: you always have to wear something to cover up in case it gets cold, fourth: It just sits there in your cupboard seeking desperately for your attention while you are too busy to wear anything but those tees you always wear.

Something similar happened to me, but, the dress in this post is actually one my sister gave me. My tenth grade unofficial farewell party theme was neon and this dress fit the description, believe me when I say this: I haven't worn this dress since then. IT HAS BEEN A YEAR.

Wearing it has crossed my mind but then I was always too lazy to bother. So on Friday when I decided to go on a date with my bestie I decided to be brave and take a chance. Then I filtered my wardrobe for a cover-up since the dress has a sexy back. SEXY BACK YAY.

Minimalistic nails

Well doing nail art, which is simple and does not need any tools, has always been a good pastime, it's easy, looks as though made with loads of effort and makes my nails look pretty.

I recently cut my nails so I can relate with the problems of having short nails but this can be done to short nails as well as long.

No Heat Curls w/ Garnie

The new Garner Oil in Cream is a buttery consistency products which is completely non-sticky.
In other words, Garner has smartly used the not-so-new concept of Leave in Conditioner and just renamed it as Oil in Cream.

The product is beyond fabulous, specially for girls with massive frizz, and who am I kidding? All of us deal with frizz, it's inevitable in this much humidity.

Not all of us have time to get Hair Spa done every month and this is our solution.

My own maa was so impressed by the advertisement of this product she ordered it before I asked her to. She always was against me letting go of my butt-reaching long non-layered hair. I stopped oiling or braiding and finally not tying or brushing my hair frequently too. This product is a blessing. I first applied it on 3 day old hair to see if it actually moisturises the hair, it doesn't, not as much as oil does but hey! We have to compromise somewhere.

I tried something new one morning at 06:15, I had washed my hair the night before, I applied the product mid-length to the tips and by the time I reached classes my hair had soft curls...thus, this post.

In this Post I'm going to show how I mastered the no-heat curls without much fuss.

Handle Stress in Style

With Tuitions, College and Entrance preparation I know the struggle is real, the struggle of looking presentable with all the messy hair+panda eyes+undernourished skin.

Today morning I was at my worst self, unpacked bag plus undecided outfit at 6:00 in the morning is a disaster! I managed to pull out this cozy outfit which practically made me look better than any outfit ever could.

A tip, if you haven't slept well, at least for almond eyed girls like me, you'd want to apply eye makeup to brighten up those sleepy eyes but mind you, watery eyes and rubbing your eyes to prevent from dozing off in those boring lectures will make things worse!
